Terms & Conditions – High Rim Transport

These Terms & Conditions outline the policies and procedures governing the transportation services arranged by High Rim Transport. By booking or using our services, customers acknowledge and agree to the following terms.

1. Service Overview

High Rim Transport acts as a licensed transportation broker, arranging vehicle shipping services with independent, licensed, and insured carriers.

High Rim Transport is not responsible for any costs incurred due to delays, including but not limited to rental vehicles, hotel stays, or airline tickets.

2. Exclusive Agreement

Customers agree not to arrange transportation for the same vehicle with another broker or carrier during the agreed scheduling period.

3. Pickup & Delivery Conditions

Carriers typically provide door-to-door service, provided the location is safely accessible. If access is restricted due to narrow roads, low-hanging obstacles, or safety concerns, customers may be required to meet the driver at a nearby accessible location (e.g., parking lot or open area).

4. Personal Items Policy

Carriers are not licensed or insured to transport personal or household goods. Customers may place up to 100 lbs of personal items in the trunk.

  • High Rim Transport and the carrier are not responsible for damage caused by personal items

5. Vehicle Condition Requirements

Vehicles must be:

  • In operable condition

  • Contain no more than half a tank of fuel

The carrier is not responsible for damage caused by:

  • Fluid leaks

  • Mechanical issues

  • Frozen parts

  • Loose or aftermarket components

Any damage claims must be noted at the time of delivery on the inspection report.

6. Insurance & Claims

All contracted carriers maintain:

  • Cargo insurance: $100,000 – $250,000

  • Liability coverage: minimum $750,000

In the event of damage:

  • Claims must be documented on the Bill of Lading (inspection report) at delivery

  • Claims must be submitted within 15 days

High Rim Transport is not responsible for damage claims but will assist in providing carrier insurance details.

7. Rescheduling & Availability

  • A rescheduling fee may apply if the vehicle is not available at pickup

  • Customers must notify High Rim Transport if they cannot be present

  • A representative may be assigned if necessary

8. Vehicle Availability

Customers must inform High Rim Transport immediately if the vehicle becomes unavailable during the scheduled pickup window.

9. Inspection Requirement

Customers (or their representatives) must:

  • Complete a vehicle inspection at pickup and delivery

  • Sign the Bill of Lading

Failure to do so may result in denied damage claims.

10. Deposit, Pricing & Payments

All quotes provided by High Rim Transport are based on current market conditions and are subject to change until a carrier is assigned.

Payment Structure

  • A portion of the total transport cost is required upfront as a deposit to initiate the dispatch process

  • The remaining balance is due upon delivery, payable directly to the assigned carrier (typically in cash, certified funds, or other accepted payment methods as specified by the carrier)

Pricing Conditions

High Rim Transport reserves the right to adjust pricing if:

  • The vehicle details were misrepresented

  • Market conditions change significantly

  • Additional services are requested

11. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations must be submitted in writing (email)

  • A cancellation fee applies within 7 days of the scheduled pickup window

12. Refund Policy

Refund eligibility is as follows:

  • Full or partial refund if canceled 15+ days before pickup

  • No refund after dispatch has been initiated

  • No refunds will be issued after dispatch

  • Once Dispatched, The order is considered in progress or completed

14. Chargeback Policy

Customers must contact High Rim Transport before initiating any chargeback.

  • Refund requests must be submitted via email

  • Processing may take up to 15 business days

  • Unauthorized or premature chargebacks may be disputed

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma.

16. Agreement Acknowledgment

By using High Rim Transport services, customers acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

SMS Terms & Conditions

1- SMS Consent Communication:

The information (Phone Numbers) obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

2- Types of SMS Communications:

If you have consented to receive text messages from HIGH RIM TRANSPORT LLC, you may receive messages related to the following:

  • Customer care messages

  • Marketing messages

Example: "Hello, following up on your vehicle transport request. You can reply STOP to opt out of SMS messaging from HIGH RIM TRANSPORT LLC at any time."

3- Message Frequency:

"Message frequency may vary. You may receive up to 5 SMS messages per week regarding your customer care and marketing SMS."

4- Potential Fees for SMS Messaging:

Please note that standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier’s pricing plan. These fees may vary if the message is sent domestically or internationally.

5- Opt-In Method:

You may opt-in to receive SMS messages from HIGH RIM TRANSPORT LLC in the following way:

  • By submitting an online form

6- Opt-Out Method:

You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time. To do so, simply reply "STOP" to any SMS message you receive. Alternatively, you can contact us directly to request removal from our messaging list.

7- Help:

Additional Options:

  • If you do not wish to receive SMS messages, you can choose not to check the SMS consent box on our forms.
